Building a community for entrepreneurs

Kitchener: On Wednesday May 16, 2012, the Waterloo Region Small Business Centre hosted a delegation from Startup Canada; an entrepreneur-led, national movement to enhance the nation’s competitiveness and prosperity by supporting and celebrating Canadian entrepreneurship. The delegation was a one hour meeting to bring together members of the entrepreneurial community.

Wateloo Region Small Business Centre had a small group of key partners, sponsors, Board of Advisors and staff attending.Between now and December 2012, Startup Canada will fuel a groundswell, grassroots, entrepreneur-led movement to bring together Canada’s entire entrepreneurship community to create a clear, concise plan that leads to real change and action. The delegation is touring the area for 2 days and has selected the Small Business Centre as one of their stops along the way.
