International Women’s Day Event March 8th, 2013
“Celebrate and Connect Women in Technology”
Kitchener: On March 8th, thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate their achievements. A global web of rich and diverse local activity connects women from all around the world. Activities range from political rallies, business conferences, government activities and networking events, to local women’s craft markets, theatrical performances, fashion parades and more.
The Waterloo Region Small Business Centre, community partners and sponsors are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual International Women’s Day event designed to Celebrate and Connect Women in Technology. The Centre has partnered with local business women to provide a luncheon featuring Keynote Speaker Sarah Prevette on March 8th, 2013 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at St. George Banquet Hall and Conference Centre in Waterloo.
There are over 1500 events being held worldwide; 184 of which are held in Canada, this event is known as the “event to attend” in the City of Waterloo. It is designed to appeal to students, start-ups, entrepreneurs, professionals and those in business or career paths such as business, marketing, design, digital and social media.
